Saturday 4th February 2012

Skibbereen under 8's travelled to Cork Con last sat and we had a great day out . We played 3 matches with 6 players on each team . The lads played some fantastic rugby considering the ground conditions . There were some great tries scored by all  teams and the tackling by our lads was fantastic . After the match the lads were treated to chips and sausages and drinks in the clubhouse . All in all a great day was had by all .

Saturday 12th November 2011

On Sat 12th our lads took on Bantry in two very good games. Once again the weather was perfect for rugby. Twenty five lads togged out for Skibbereen which is fantastic numbers . The hard work the lads have being putting in at training is really paying off, as some the basic skills being shown in these games is brilliant.

Saturday 5th November 2011

Our under 8s played clon last sat the 5th nov . It was a beautiful morning for a rugby and our lads did not leave us down with their display. We had great numbers ,20 in all turned up so we had 2 games . Once again there  was some great performances great tacking and some super tries. Thank you very much to the parents for the refreshments that were served in the clubhouse after . U'8's Rugby Blitz - Skibbereen Grounds

Skibbereen took on Sundays well and Tralee in Skibb today. They should be very proud of themselves and their performances as the weather was shocking. We had two teams togged out and both did very well in their games.
